Cranberry walleye bite 4/15/24

Just wanted to post a walleye report to get things in gear! I live in Huron and fish walleye from Huron to Vermillion April to June.Have been out a couple days and found fish shallow in the mud, 10-14 fow. Was too muddy to jig, so I trolled chartreuse Flicker Minnows, sizes 9 and 11, at 25-32" back behind boards at 1.8-2.0 mph. Good early bite, 7-10 am. Fished from Sherod Beach park to the Castle. Lots of "eaters", a few sheep, and some whopper smallies released!__DS1walleyeSee More
